What we can do to save our future government

I am reading Ben Carson's book, "Nation, What we can all do to save America's future", and after each chapter there is a list of Action Steps that we, as citizens, can do to help our nation. So I would like to post one question a day and try to write something positive about it and then actually do something. CHAPTER TWO - Political Correctness 1. Try to identify one instance of artificial outrage. Explain to one other person why this is a contrived issue and outline the way it agitates people and cultivates political support for the agitators.  So lets use the example of people stating that Barack Obama was not born in the USA so he should  not become president of our country. This is an artificial statement made publicly to try to incite anger about President Obama. This was picked up by the media and caused much controversies and angered many people of the opposition political party. So as the question states, it cultivated political support for the agitator....
